Pieology Food Truck

We love when our past and current projects’ successes lead us to new and exciting endeavors. Our graphics, interiors, and oven wraps for various Pieology locations were such a hit that we were asked to journey to Stamford and cross over to food trucks… the first-ever Pieology food truck! Our design had to take the shape and size of the truck into consideration, and work with the imperfections, grooves, etc. that are inherent when working with metal. Taking inspiration from high-end, moody wallpaper and throwing in a little bit of kitsch and funk, we created a pattern with a pizza (duh!) and the most recognizable ingredients when seen in their most stripped down shapes. Natural variations in the ingredients and the pizza would allow for the pattern to adapt during the installation, and better mold to the truck. Also included in the design is a QR code (large enough to be scanned from a distance) for customers to order directly from the link. To keep customers technologically engaged with the truck and entice them into sharing their experience, we included an “Instagrammable moment” via a mural-like graphic of a pizza in the shape of wings for customers to take photos in front of while waiting for their orders. It’s safe to say, everyone knows that day time pizza and night time pizza are two very different moods. We feel very strongly that the atmospheres for day crowds and night crowds Should help deliver the right vibes. So, for the cherry on top, we used reflective material on certain elements of the design to really get the pizza party started. Check out the Pieology Truck below and catch it burning rubber on the roads of Stamford!
